History of The Mallett Group

The Mallett Group was founded in 1997 by Joe Mammano, a veteran airline and loyalty marketing expert. The company’s first office was a small room at the house on Malletts Lane known locally as “The Mallett House.” The Mallett House is a beautifully restored farmhouse originally built in 1816 by John Mallett, a local carpenter and joiner. This historic building is also Joe's inspiration for naming his company The Mallett Group.

As the company began to build a reputation in the loyalty and airline marketing fields, Joe looked to expand his team. He saw great potential in Lori Sartwell, who was employed at a local bank. Lori quickly learned the business and became proficient in addressing client needs. Shortly thereafter, Marc Berman, a close childhood friend of Joe’s, also joined the team and brought his deep understanding of consumer behavior and loyalty dynamics. The group quickly outgrew The Mallett House and relocated to an office on the other side of town where they broadened their reach and built relationships in the financial and hospitality industries, expanding the team along the way.

Since those early days, The Mallett Group has grown in size and reputation serving major brands like American Express, AT&T, British Airways, Harrods, InterContinental Hotels Group, JetBlue, MasterCard Worldwide, Points.com, Priceline.com, Sears and Time Inc./Synapse. As the company continued to grow, The Mallett Group moved home base again to it's current location at 5 Booth House Lane, also known as “The Manor.” The Manor is a beautifully restored historic Georgian colonial and home to a talented team of loyalty marketing consultants and strategists. Throughout the years The Mallett Group has stayed focused on a single mission: helping clients design, develop and maximize the value of their customer loyalty strategies and programs. The company’s leadership team has an immense amount of experience and expertise across multiple industries and we are proud to say our clients include some of the world’s largest airlines, hospitality companies, financial institutions and retailers.
